I had a Summit 150MB floppy tape once. It chewed up two tapes after
only a handful of backups and I chucked it. I believe Iomega
makes a Ditto floppy tape drive but I don't know if that's any good.

You can get used/refurb DDS2 drives for under $300; DDS media
is very cheap per megabyte. Travan and OnStream are alternatives
but their media cost is higher and the cartridges bulkier.
