Hi Stan,

I maintain the Amanda package for Solaris 8-10 for the OpenCSW project,
http://www.opencsw.org/. Installation is simple, install the pkg-get
utility then do "pkg-get -i amanda" and sit back and wait while it and
all the dependencies are installed. Everything will be installed to
/opt/csw and you'll be ready to go.

Regards,
