Turns out the issue was unrealted to the machine crash. I am cycling in a series of new tapes, and it looks like I will have to manually take one out of tapelist every day till that is finished. It had 25 entries in it, not 25, as it should. BTW, I have tried to post a message with logfiles pertaining to my network issues 3 times, starting yesterday, and still don't see it coming back from the list. I have tried making them atchements, and puting them in the body. Is there a size limit? -- A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
