Upendra, I found the amoverview man page on the web and it shows the date headers and DLEs down the left side as your email indicates but shows dump levels in the grid rather than the "E" markings which the man page shows and ran into end of tape .
Its more complicated than that, rather than repeat or risk screwing it up in a summary I recommend you read the man page yourself.
