dunno so far ;-) applied your patch, tried amrecover settranslate on, sure The display of the directory was different, but not correct: Got <C3><BC> displayed for "ü" ... might be an issue of ssh+terminator etc BUT cd Büro worked! where before I had to use something like "B*ro" That's promising!
