Except that's exactly what Connect Thread does - it saves your config to a
temp file and runs another copy of AmIRC with the temp config as an
argument. *this* is the common sensical way of doing it, concidering that if
it was a real thread, the second copy of AmIRC would quit when the first one
exited...
