It's very likely... However, I know others connected to the same ISP
as I, who has no problems getting a list at all (using virtualy the same
hardware aswell as software), so perhaps it's some kind of setting problem
in either AmIRC or MiamiDx?

It's been that way all the time I've tried IRC on my computer. I think the
first time I tried was 2.something, and then I registrated the first 3.0
version available. They all had/have this problem.
