Well it is definately not an AmIRC problem, as AmIRC is not a dns.
Its either, the dalnet server you're trying to connect to has been
redirected to 127.0.0.1 because its down?
Or could be something to do with your ISP's dns, or maybe something local.
BUT, I'd say its the first one.
Just try another server.
