I think I got it backwards. 4D32's are the tetrode and 4B32's are the rectifier. 3B28's are drop-in replacements for the 866A as well. Confusing, isn't it?

4B32's are the power tetrode, used in Viking I and 32V series. 4D32's are xenon gas rectifiers, drop-in replacements for 872A rectifiers. Less flaky than the MV rectifiers.
