at 4:45 PM central time, Dave, W9AD is stronger into my Mississippi qth on 3885 than he usually is on 20 meters during the summer. While I don't do S meter readings, that translates into a pretty much totally quieting signal.
It will be interesting (or perhaps frustrating do some) to see where the band goes over the next few hours.
