Nothing wrong with "long skip" except when you're trying to work stations close in between 100 and 600 miles. If I wanted to work "long skip", I'd work 40 or 20 M. 75M is supposed to be for "short skip", and "local" work, not specifically DX.

But I hear it a lot on the air and it sounds like folks are complaining about good DX condx. What am I missing? What is wrong with "long skip"? ______________________________________________________________ AMRadio mailing list List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:AMRadio@mailman.qth.net
