Those who lust after a portable 40 meter AM radio might be interested in this 40 meter AM Handie Talkie from DZ Kit: http://www.dzkit.com/new_products.htm#ht7
I have no knowledge about them at all, it is more expensive but is also a complete kit with case, mic, etc. You can download the manual if you wish from his website - Heathkit fans will notice a distinct resemblance. It's quite a piece of work. As is the transceiver, based on a quick look at the schematic, a lot of engineering went into the innovative design. Maybe someone owns one and can provide some firsthand information on the HT-7. A note on the DZ Kit webpage says an 80 meter version is "coming soon". 73, Bob W9RAN ______________________________________________________________ Our Main Website: http://www.amfone.net AMRadio mailing list Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ List Rules (must read!): http://w5ami.net/amradiofaq.html List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Post: [email protected] To unsubscribe, send an email to [email protected] with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
