aie aie aieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
we're totally misunderstanding each other now....
ok, first, Jerome, when you were talking about a 0.95-1 tag in CVS, you
were talking about a 0.95.1 release ? I though it would only be a tag in
CVS that's all (maybe I can remove the old tag and create a new one with
the same name) but anyways, as I said "only a tag in CVS", even if the tag
is called "0.95-2" the release will still be the "0.95" release (since
0.95 was never released yet)!
Now Phil, I didn't know about this APPRELEASE thing.. it's ok, but I would
suggest you leave it blank for now, we're not release 0.95.1, we're
releasing 0.95! when I saw the 0.95-1 in the filenames, I though it was
"first build", just like what we had before, a 0.95-1 and a 0.95-2
installers, the same code, the same thing, only difference is the
isntaller changed (example, we added imagemagick libraries for windows
installer, or we added the desktop icon for linux because it was forgotten
in the previous RPM, etc....)
that's what I though, anyways, the release should be 0.95, and that's
it... the apprelease should be set to 0 in that case, or a blank field
please.

I think you can remove the tag :p
Correction 0.95-1 exists it's the first release for linux packages !!!
It's the 0.95-2 which doesn't exists : cat configure.ac | head -n10
APPNAME=amsn
APPVERSION=0.95
APPRELEASE=1 <<<<< You see : it's the release 1 not the 0 one

0.95 exist, the tag is there
0.95.1 doesn't exist yet. We don't have to silitently drop the old
one, we just have to release the 0.95.1 first, that's all. As long as
we decide fast to release or not releasing it..
