Sorry for the delay - it took me a little bit, but I tested this, and it
works. I used Yahoo for my example since it uses several formats and the
assumption per your message was that you wanted to only know about
Freshmeat.net as a whole.
Here's the format that worked for me:
REFALIAS *yahoo* "http://www.yahoo.this.worked.for.gaelyne/"
So in your case, it would be:
REFALIAS *freshmeat.net* "http://freshmeat.net/"
Now that this works, you might not want to use it. Try using
REFDIR http://*freshmeat.net*/*
REFDIRFLOOR 1r
REFDIRSORTBY requests
And see if this doesn't yield something nice for you. (It may or may not
depending on the number of referals, floor limits and a number of other
things.
I know at this stage you aren't interested in seeing results from mirror
Freshmeat sites, but at some point you may be interested in finding out
which mirror brings the most referrals - I would be. :-)
