unfortunately it didn't work:
same result then when installing from SD card:

$ sudo platform-tools/adb install /home/mik/workspace/signed/
myapp.apk
1669 KB/s (1453881 bytes in 0.850s)
        pkg: /data/local/tmp/myapp.apk
Success

But then when I try to run it from the GUI menu a toast message tells
me:
"Application is not installed in your phone"

While from "Manage Applications" menu, I can still see it...
