You can already get a couple of AWS for Android http://andappstore.com/AndroidPhoneApplications/apps/30261 and http://andappstore.com/AndroidPhoneApplications/apps/8799
I would suggest you might need to look at how you're trying to do what you want to do and see if there are any Android based caveats.
