I'm very curious if anyone has any thoughts on my original post, namely, my experience that the 1.1 SDK provided with 1.5 behaves differently than the old 1.1_r1 SDK. The specific difference I am seeing is presumably in the behavior of dx and dx.jar since I am getting a failure to convert to dalvik, but not necessarily, since the problem could theoretically be that further upstream the old and new 1.1 SDKs are producing difference .class files to feed to dx...so there really is no way to know.
I just want to know if anyone has witness the two SDKs behaving differently. Am I the first developer to come across any difference at all here? Thank you very much. Cheers!
