I submitted Daisy Garden which I just published to the Android Market (Entertainment). http://www.tomgibara.com/android/daisy/garden/
and there's a bit more about it on my blog: http://blog.tomgibara.com/ It's 'little brother' to a game I'm developing called Daisy Chase and was mostly complete, but laying dormant while I worked on that and Moseycode (a barcode publishing system they both integrate with). I only decided to enter a few days after they announced that the ADC was open for submissions to enter, so it was a rush. My most stressed moment was when, with about 4 hrs to the deadline, none of the Moseycodes would scan. It's very complex code and delicate to debug under normal circumstances and I was so bleary by that time that it took me 30 minutes to realize I'd simply smeared butter from my toast onto the camera lens. For various of reasons I'm predicting there will be far fewer entrants this time round - and I'll probably look stupid when they announce a record number of entrants. I'm also predicting that Daisy Garden's best chance of progressing to the second round is that fewer than 20 apps were submitted under the Entertainment category.
