Dear All, I compiled the Android image and the kernel from the repo (MSM kernel). But when I use the "fastboot boot zImage ramdisk.img" on G1 (in FastBoot mode, with the skateboard androids), the commands runs ok:
fastboot boot ../../../../kernel/arch/arm/boot/zImage ramdisk.img creating boot image... creating boot image - 1900544 bytes < waiting for device > downloading 'boot.img'... OKAY booting... OKAY the ADP1 restarts but with the kernel and image installed, and not with the one that I downloaded to the ADP1. Any help please? The version of the Android is 2.0.1. Could be because of the version of Android? http://sites.google.com/site/androidhackeryetc/kernel-building-for-android-on-g1-htc-dream/kernel-building-for-the-htc-dream-the-basics Thanks, Ricardo Silva On Mar 10, 4:05 pm, Ricardo Silva <ban...@gmail.com> wrote: > Dear All, > > How I compile the kernel and then build Android (including the kernel > compiled before) to the ADP1? > > Other question, after build, how I use the fastboot boot command? the > ramdisk.img is need?
