Hi Michael, Guess what, interestingly enough, I noticed that the mmcargs was over-riding the bootargs. Here is what I did..
# setenv mmcargs setenv bootargs mem=128M console=ttyS2,115200n8 root =/dev/mmcblk0p2 rw rootfstype=ext3 init=/init rootwait It booted straight into android. However, I could not initialize the surface manager because I had disabled pmem. Now I am going to re- enable pmem and try again.
