Hi I wanted to know which version of ppppd do you have if you are using it to get data connection (i have ppp 2.4.3).
I am having a lot of troubles trying to use pppd with the chat scripts. The connection seems to be up, be the ip-up and ip-down scripts never get called, no matter what permissions or group i put them in. As android thinks the connection has'nt been made, because i never supply it the proper dns @ and ip @ (usually done in ip-up script), the system tries to start pppd over and over again (when i specificaly used the option maxfail 1). -- unsubscribe: android-porting+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com website: http://groups.google.com/group/android-porting
