@John, if you migrate to IOS , doesn't ios still need you to jailbreak its device to gain admin privilege, does user apps still get root privilege there ? Without root access to non system apps we are already seeing so many vulnerabilities in Android, given the broken update mechanism of Android updates many users are already vulnerable. From users perspective i dont' think it's good but may be good from developer perspective atleast android community can provide decent security layer for those vulnerable users if they have access to system resources.
