I did what you told me. So now i have downloaded installkit-akita.tar.gz and i assembled my own Image which comes in the myZaurusImage-image-akita.tar.gz. But how to go on from here. The Manual (http://www.linuxtogo.org/gowiki/AngstromManual) in the Wiki does not describe how to install with the files you suggested me to use. Please give me a short explanation how to get it installed on my Zaurus.Copy and untar it. (IMPORTANT: You must untar directly onto the SD/CF card. Do not untar somewhere else and then copy to the SD/CF): $ sudo cp Angstrom-akita-image.tar.gz /mnt/sda2 $ cd /mnt/sda2 $ sudo tar -xzpvf Angstrom-akita-image.tar.gz The rootfs already contains a kernel and a boot.cfg. Ok, I unpacked Angstrom-akita-image.tar.gz to my SD Card (fat32). After that there are the following folders on the Card:
/media/3E50-8329$ ls bin boot dev etc home lib media mnt proc sbin sys tmp usr varThen i did the usual steps to flash the ROM and got this message: see attachment. By the way: Before that i tried again with ext2 file system. And again the Card was not detected successfully.
