I have X11 running on my poodle. This was done by installing the console image and adding the X stuff on the /home partition and linking the packages with ipkg-link afterwards (I first cross-compiled ipkg-link myself because it isn't available in the ipkg repositories): # ipkg install -d home xserver-kdrive-fbdev task-base-extended angstrom-x11-base-depends angstrom-gpe-task-base angstrom-gpe-task-settings # ipkg-link mount /home/packages It could be necessary to install it all once again, because the postinstall instructions of some packages cannot be done before linking them with ipkg-link. Altboot with a loopback image doesn't work for me, because the boot process halts with init. I don't know yet what causes this. Folkert van der Beek. PS let me know if you cannot find or build the ipkg-link package, so I can send it to you _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
