Aha.  I'm not sure whether or not iwlist is available as a bitbake
recipe (.bb file) in the Angstrom build tree (can't get to my build
machine at the moment).  If it is, you can build it.  You could also see
if network-manager is available as a recipe.  If you follow the
instructions at the link I provided in my first reply, it should be the
easiest way to accomplish this.  You can search for files ending in
'.bb' to see what's available.

My guess is that iwlist will be there, but I'm not sure about Network
Manager.
