Prior to flashing the kexec image , did a nand restore to origional
Sharp values for my 860 from
trisoft ==> http://trisoft.de/en_c860howto.htm
This is for 860 , on this page I see 750 760 860 1000 etc, but no
700. I believe this would be required if you have flashed altboot, or
some how overlayed the orginal memory layout. uboot may cause the
same issue, never used it, so not sure about that. Somebody here may
have more understanding of this, than I do.
I was useing altboot and was able to boot all three images (one
partition with three image files) before moving to kexec. Reason for
nand restore.
The kexec I'm using is the latest kexec link posted by Andrea to this
forum apr 10 1:56 AM ==> http://projects.linuxtogo.org/frs/?group_id=55
Built the sd card using a slackware linux system , fdisk, mkfs (dev
should not be mounted), mount and untar. see below.
The console image was narcissus but fairly old , working on building
a current one it gave a udev error and hung at RNDIS ready
The X11 was old , would have to find the space some where but could
probably find some
The Ubuntu was from ==> http://www.omegamoon.com/blog/static.php?
page=ZaurusUbuntu. This system boots but has screen and RTC clock
problems.
** They also have a kexec download (** warning that kexec didn't
work for me, found everything but wouldn't boot)
** They have good instructions on building the SD card.
