thanks for answering. Yes, we are aware that we can install debian packages
with opkg directly. This is not a problem, but we have an application which
is calling dpkg -l command in order to get the list of all installed
packages. This list is expected to be in a format debian packaging system
is using it, thus working with opkg doesn't give real results, if you know
what I mean. Currently we are providing scripts to overcome this problem,
but application could use dpkg for other functions also (i.e. upgrade,
etc.) and this could be a problem for us. This is why we want to have
original debian packaging system, without changing distribution.
If this is not possible with Angstrom, than we have to stick with wrapping
opkg.
