Dear Fellow Libertarians,
Reminder - the State Fair is less than FIVE weeks away!
Please join us at the Virginia State Fair, at The Meadow Event Park in Caroline
County!
If we receive commitments from enough volunteers to man all required shifts at
the State Fair of Virginia, the Libertarian Party of Virginia will have a State
Fair Booth this year! We believe it is extremely important that we have a
booth this year to promote our candidates for Governor and the House of
Delegates.
The 2013 State Fair of Virginia is scheduled to run from Friday, September 27
October 7, 2012. Check out their web site for complete information including a

Operating days and hours are as follows:
Friday, September 27: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, September 28: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday, September 29: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday, September 30: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tuesday, October 1: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, October 2: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Thursday, October 3: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, October 4: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, October 5: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday, October 6: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Manning a State Fair booth is a very demanding assignment, particularly during
peak periods (weekends and evenings). We will need a minimum of 2 volunteers
at the booth, preferably 3 during peak periods. This will allow for breaks for
food, water and rest room time. Shifts of at least 4 hours would be needed.
Therefore, there would be at least 30 shifts with a need for 2-3 LPVA reps at
each. Some people may be able to volunteer for more than one 4-hour shift.
However, maximum manpower will be needed to support the booth for the entire
time. We need your help! If you can cover several shifts on different days,
your help will be greatly appreciated!!
If you would like to earn an All-Day State Fair Ticket for manning the State
Fair Booth for at least 4 hours, please contact me (contact info below) with
