To: Marty Connor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Ok. Work is in progress. Expect to see something by next week (I want to make sure I'm relating all of my notes from a couple months ago well, since I've been working on our new network switch order and design for the last month). Also, the easiest way for me to sum up my application space/performance requirements: Oracle, 300-500GB databases, data warehousing operations with a lot of full table scans, and web services built up on top of those data warehousing environments. We basically do several TB per day in I/O, and usually have people waiting on the other end for immediate results. Also, to address another reply, right now we do export one vblade target to each VLAN/machine. We're hoping to be able to sanely support several exports on one VLAN with the socketfilter patch.
