I've been using ab on many of my ADP pages, mostly to compare them with
mod_dtcl and php clones.
Haven't noticed any blocking mechanisms. I've also tested memory leaks in
C code used in Tcl, so ab -n 2000000 and 'good night, computer' was quite
a normal thing for me. And never encountered any blocking mechanisms...
I suppose it may be some problems with ns_mutex or ns_rwlock or whatever
it is you're using. Maybe try ab-ing <%= "Hello world" %>. If that fails,
then you've got a problem...
