Roughly yes, but some redesigning is allowed if a problem or an improvement is 
identified at some point of the development.

It is just a prototype, so the specific programming language have less 
importance, Ruby would be acceptable given that pure C++ is the final working 
code. Haskell or Brainfuck... no way... ;)
