With nob→nno plain lt-trim 1. takes 33s whereas the long script in 2. takes 45s. File size increases from 1.2M to 5.5M, seems acceptable (the unweighted, untrimmed nob analyser is 2.1M). However, I think it should be possible to do 2. nearly as quickly as 1. in pure lttoolbox (at least if tags are used instead of weights).
