AFAIK, on Rev A motherboards the Aux slot is to the left of Slot 1 (thus
leading some people to confuse it with the Slot 0 from older machines).
Later, on the Rev. B motherboard, the slot were moved and placed in line with
the Slot 3 (after all, if you had an 80-column card, you wouldn't be able to
use anything in Slot 3 because the 80-column firmware would map there!). Of
course, all European //es are Rev. B, so all of them have the "inline" Aux
slot. Both the Enhanced //e and the Platinum //e are also based on the Rev. B
motherboard, so in these machines, the Aux slot is also lined with Slot 3.

What is sure is that I own an Spanish Enhanced //e, and I have seen a couple
Spanish Unenhanced //es, and all of them have the "inline" Aux slot. This
doesn't contradict with what I have exposed, but neither proves it's 100%
true...
