Greetings. Thanks for your assistance offered for recovering from an 0201 error. Turns out I wasn't able to clear this error. It occurs when I try to boot from the hard drive. So I'm thinking about just reformating the hard drive and reinstalling system software on it.

Incidentally, when I open the Control Panel it appears I have 512KB of physical RAM. This may be the problem with booting into the hard drive, which has System 6.0.1 on it. I read that Apple recommended 2MB for 6.0.1. So I'm going back to 5.0.4 that I have on disks.

Now I am faced with a new problem. I changed my Floppy Drive (Slot 5) to be my Start-up Disk. I can boot nicely using a System Disk in the drive. But I can't find my hard drive in the Finder. It doesn't show- up on the Desktop and I can't browse for it with Installer Software that came with the SCSI Card. What am I doing wrong? I know the hard drive is not "toast" because I was able to verify it as a SCSI device when it was the start-up disk (I saw the partitions and sizes, etc.).

Thanks in advance for your patient help from a IIGS Newbie!
