Hi,
I tried with and without pass-through and nothing.
As long as CD is off then HD boots up otherwise it freezes.

sometimes a pass-through terminator put just before the last SCSI
item on the chain will unfreeze startup problems. Of course, I
also don't know if you happen to have one of these handy. :)
