Snippets from Pete Randolph:

With 5MB free RD space and 16MB free RAM IE is *very* slow.

With FM IR fiber-optic connections, the available bandwidth will be
nearly unimaginable- Tens of TerraHertz per beam. So much that these
programs will be transparent and behind the scenes. Most computers for
consumers will no longer have keyboards (thank God!). Just as we never
think about re-tuning antenna coils when we change AM radio channels, so
will the electronic medium be streamlined. Consider where we are now
compared to 15 years ago.
Ya want text-only telephone line internet? In 15 years you will have it.
(end quote)

What is RD? RAMDRIVE or RAMDISK?

I read on the windows.about.com site that MSIE 5.5 requires at least 64 MB RAM
to run at respectable speed.

What will be used in the future for text input in place of keyboards?
