Hi Eric:

I'm doing the same thing as you, but I will never get an the internet with
my WIN95 computer unless I should really have a dire need to access a web
page that is not compatible with Arachne or some other DOS browser. I'm
very wary of security issues and am afraid of compromising myself and
getting tracked and spammed and virus-infected, etc. I use WIN95 mainly
for operating hardware such as scanners and some printers that are
incompatible with DOS, and also for downloading images from my digital
camera, also incompatible with DOS.

Paul McFedries, "Windows 95 Unleashed, Professional Reference Edition",
copyright 1997 by SAMS Publishing. BTW, this manual mentions some of the
tricks Or Botton discussed in one of his recent posts.

Same to you, Eric. Have a Happy New Year too!
