If you should ever receive an email containing a virus and saying in the "From:" header that it is from me, that information alone would not provide you with any justifiable reason for saying that I am apparently the person who sent it to you. > Wouldn't you like to know if someone was doing that under your name? I don't know whether they accused him or whether they advised him. I haven't seen a copy of the message they sent to him. Whatever the case, they should neither have accused him nor should they have advised him. They should have simply said that they blocked the message, or perhaps they should have simply blocked the message and without even advising me of the fact that an attempt was made to send a virus to me. >> Also it is a very bad idea to commit libel because the person who has >> unjustly suffered having had his reputation damaged can have his >> lawyers take you to the cleaners for that. > So let him sue them. All of the lawbooks I know about say that you can be taken to the cleaners for committing libel. Sam Heywood -- This mail was written by user of The Arachne Browser: http://browser.arachne.cz/
