Hi Michael, > In the support files section, perhaps a RISC OS 3.11 download can be > included now, if it can be built from the ROOL source?
Wouldn't have thought it could be. I agree it would be really nice to have 3.10 or 3.11 ROM images available for download. Who holds the copyright? ROOL may be the first people to contact because they'll know the history between Castle and ROL over the various versions. For originally-Acorn stuff I suspect it's ROL and they'd want money. Google turn up some to download, e.g. http://oliverb.drobe.co.uk/downloads.html, although it's mislabelled as 3.11 when its SHA1 is 3.10's so those keen to get ROMs will find them but it's a shame to have some potential users drop at the first hurdle. Our manual says where to find 3.10, perhaps that could also be more prominent, or a link to that part of the manual added to the files section. > And is the "investigate the use of a JIT or rolling support into the > QEMU project" still on the cards? Don't we have a JIT now, or am I getting my emulators mixed up?
