Firstly, I did not call you a fool - I said you looked like a fool.
Thats a very important distinction.

I am not saying that you are "questioning something that I believe is
right".  I am saying that when versions become alphanumeric, the
decision is 100% arbitrary, and trying to say that one way is right
and one way is wrong is pretty dumb.  Here, I'll give you and example.
 Here are three version progressions.  Your job is to tell me which
order each ones goes in.

1.0X and 1.0
3.4_a and 3.4.a
7 and 7_f

What is the correct ordering for these versions?
