yes of course. tbh i had never installed arch any other way than with an ftp iso
and ive have done more 10-15 installations during the year i ve been using arch
on
numerous workstations. they had all worked perfectly. in fact my last
installation
was with a Duke ftp iso in mid July. but not i cant even use the same iso to
make a
flawless installation like all the ones before. even with duke iso theres
problems. forgot to say before that with the duke i got some errors with eth0
upon startup as well as the ones i mentioned in my first mail.
also i would appreciate it, if people who report successful ftp installations
with don't panic isos clearly state if they used DHCP or not..
thanks
