Hello all, My name is Vincent, I work for the Center for Virtualization and Applied Spatial Technologies (CVAST), which is part of the University of South Florida.
We specialize in collecting 3D and GIS data for both heritage and natural conservation projects, both in Florida and around the world. We are interested in using Arches as a base for our new application, which we will be used for both documenting our data and presenting it to the public. We have successfully containerized the Arches app with Docker (separate containers for the web app, database and Elasticsearch). Now we are working on customizing the app for our needs. I can see nothing from my window, because there isn't one, since we are in a basement on campus. I do work outside a lot with my laptop, usually next to some nice fake Greek columns. I will take what I can get. I'm exited about what Arches can bring us and I'm looking forward to working with you all!
