We scan directly with a Fujitsu ScanPartner 15C and Ariel 3.3. The lid sometimes interferes with doing big volumes, so we photocopy those first. The problem with scanning directly with something like the 15C that has a lid that opens from the back of the scanner is that every other page is upside down.
