This topic seems be a never ending debate. I agree with dinesh and many like him that for the past few yrs ARR has not been his usual dominating position like he used to be before. This as we know due to his commitment to LOTR and etc.
Also ARR's venture into period films though was a highly remarkable effort, wasn't vry successful with the masses. Sadly the films too did not do as well as expected. His tamil releases have not helped either. Despite having superhit scores in films like Boys, E20U18, KKS, AE, New and Ah Aah,.. it did not bring him any awards due to either negative media publicity or the films below par performance at the b-o. Added to this a host of young and new MD's have taken over the music scene in hindi and tamil and becoming a rage with the masses everywhere with their so called "hit" music. Is it a sign of the times or sheer bad luck, i would not know but ARR will almost certainly bounce back with style like he always does. On the other hand i disagree with dinesh and others who think that ARR is wasting his time on concerts. Fans all over the world wants to see him perform live and its definetely an honour for ARR to perform for his legions of fans who have supported him throughout his career. Im not sure how many MD's have done to give their fans something back like this but surely ARR has done it more and this is something to be appretiated.

to listen new fresh tunes in movies & getting appriciated!!
