Bappli Lahiri worked with Samanta Fox abroad...who is actually a pornstar. Only thing Bappi did, was to start disco properly in India, but now I am sure nobody has the ear to appreciate those songs, enen if you listen, u'll simply hate those. But we all know Rahman, he will be using Bappi in right attitude, after hearing the song certainly we will stop these acusitions.....because Rahaman has the capability to extract right thing from right person, may be Lahiri's voice is lent to recreate 70-80's DISCO feel...or whatever it might be....I'm sure that will be great....but this does not mean Lahiri is a great composer.
Some members also told that Dalaer Mehendi is not the correct voice to render rang de Basanti, but we all know the results, those member should also now enjoying Dalar's voice in RDB.
