it never happened for any other composer to me; mostly hearing others songs
repeatedly (forcefully J) makes me loose any interest that i initially had and
literally makes me disturbed for such plain compositions and makes me wonder
how ppl works effortlessly and eventually i loose interest completely.

i think it only happens for rahman's compositions bcoz it's very complex and we
discover new things with every repeat play; moreover his compositions are
original and usually one of it's kind - thts why we initially can't relate or
like the music, coz we are not capable for the taste and eventually we get to
understand and like the songs with repetitive hearing.

Subject: [arr] Does this happen only for ARR songs ?

Dear All,

I have a small doubt... Does hearing the songs repetitively, enables one to
start liking the song for any Music Director, or it is a special characterstic
of ARR 's songs alone ?. The reason I am asking is,,, I tried doing this (
forcibly ) for some other MD's songs... ( though it was a great pain ) .... and
I couldnt succed in it..

ARR also keeps telling that you should allow the music to grow in you. But its
only his music , which really grows in us, whereas other MD's music just grows
and dies off soon... No growth at all. Its always in a dwarf stage, and withers
off.

Has anyone felt like such an experience.. . I hardly listen to other MD songs,
and just for trying to increase my music taste, forced myself and ended in
vain.

Why does ARR music alone have this uniqueness ?. How does it grow in us, and
how come, a song which is initially disliked, becomes our favourite to a point,
where we cant stay without hearing it..

( I feel this is because of some Divine Intervention in ARR songs )
