They are not in-ears and they do not make a nice fashion statement but I'd recommend Koss PortaPro for in-house use.
Why in-house? They are a little bulky and make you look like character from Saturday Night Fever but boy they sound awesome especially at their price range. If you are some one who favors functionality over form you will love it.
