Ok..I make a living by Databases and Databases only :) I am a DBA. So yes..I can help. As a first step, it would be great if someone can comeup with a excel containing the following fields.
1) Film_name 2) Song_name 3) Singers_name ( comma seperated ) 4) date of release 5) Genre of the song ( Western,fusion,carnatic classical,quawalli ) 6) Director of the film 7) Lead actor 8) Actress 9) Ragaa of the song ( if possible ) 10) Language 11) is_dubbed_film ( yes/no) 12) Producer of the film 13) Lyricst. 14) Miscellaneous. You can add few more fields if you feel like. I am keeping it simple as of now and we can change the DB design( (De)Normalize ) depending upon our needs. As a first step, someone can create a document on google docs and start updating the same. As its on Google docs, most of us can contribute and we can get these details soon.
