Hi Tom   (great name by the way)

What he wants is someone from an agency to fill in doing employee work. Except he wants to save some money on the agency, and knows full well he would have to get a consultant. However he wants to save on the consultant by not paying the usual paid fees. So its being appealed to people as a possible 6 months to hire, knowing that the standard is 3 months to hire (which an agency would insist on). So if you want to be taken advantage of, I'd say that this is a fine opportunity. But its only a possible hire after 6 months. After all what if their Remedy person comes back from maturnity leave or whatever other senario that may be going on? Or they decide to not spend the money on a benefits package and hire another NotConsultant/Not Employee.
One last point....   I wasn't making a joke of it, I was simply being clear about what the offer on the table was. Maybe you mistook the offer for a joke?

Best Regards,
Tom
