Hello List,

I am trying to connect a Mid-tier 7.0.1 to our ARS 6.3 Server.

Mid-tier 7.0.1 is installed the following way -

(Windows 2003)
1. JRE 1.5 (It didn't ask for SDK).
2. Tomcat 5.5.17
3. Copied arsys.war (aka Mid-tier 7.0.1) to \webapps
4. Restarted Tomcat service.

Seemed to work since I could access Midtier-config tool, but I did not know the
dafault password, so

5. Removed arsystem.password

Now I could access Midtier config tool with an emplty password

6. Added our ARS server (Solaris 9) IP-address and it's port number onto AR
Server Settings <http://helpdesk/arsys/shared/config/config_arslist.jsp> form.
(It aslo asked for Admin Password) but I didn't understand which password does
it mean, so I didn't enter any.

That's all.

Now I tryed to access ARS server, but whatever login and password I enter it
shows me the following error -

type Exception report

message

description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from
fulfilling this request.

exception

note The full stack trace of the root cause is available in the Apache
Tomcat/5.5.17 logs.

What is wrong?
Did I miss something?
Where can I find a more detailed error log?

Thank you.

Kind Regards / C ?????????
